Several bloggers hit the Asian Carp story when it first appeared in the press and on YouTube. I came to it a bit late in the day, but when I did I was reminded of my earlier post. The original story at the Detroit Free Press evokes a sense of despair! Yet another invader introduced by profit seekers? I gotta echo Murdock's (Flyfishmagazine) comment after Species Invasion, "I [also] really wonder what the world of fly fishing will look like for our children and grandchildren with all the non-native species that seem to be popping up everywhere." ...The video is bizarre, funny, and at the same time grim:
